Education & Experience
With over 25 years of experience in health and wellness, Kim is passionate about empowering women, especially those in peri- and post-menopause, to increase energy, reduce brain fog, and feel strong and confident in their own bodies. She holds a B.S. in Exercise and Sport Science from Iowa State University, an M.P.H. in Community Public Health from New York University, is a NASM Certified Personal Trainer and DSWI Master Certified Health Coach.
As a Personal Trainer, Kim's goal is to help clients gain new strength and increase lean muscle mass to support bone health and longevity. As a Health Coach, Kim's mission extends to empowering clients to create sustainable healthy habits in each of the 4 pillars of health: Sleep, Stress Mindset, Nutrition and Fitness. Utilizing a client-led approach and believing that YOU are the expert of your own health journey, Kim's role is to guide clients in creating a powerful wellness vision, followed by setting achievable long and short term goals as a roadmap to get there.
A busy mom of three, Kim understands the demands of everyday life and strives to be a healthy role model for her children. Having completed five marathons before kids, she is well-aware of how powerful your mindset is when working to achieve something. She now enjoys running shorter distances or hiking as a way of keeping fit, relieving stress and connecting with nature.
