Meet Micki, a NASM personal trainer whose passion for fitness is as vast as her qualifications. As an AFAA-trained group fitness instructor, she offers a dynamic and engaging atmosphere in every class she leads. Micki is not just a fitness coach; she is a Fitness Nutrition Specialist, a WBA paddleboard instructor, and a RYT-200 certified yoga instructor, embodying a holistic approach to health and wellness.
Micki graduated from Liberty University, earning her Master’s degree in Exercise Science with a concentration on Nutrition and Wellness. This educational background fuels her commitment to helping others achieve their fitness goals while emphasizing the importance of nutrition. Micki holds TRX certifications, Yoga Strength, and CPR certifications, demonstrating her dedication to maintaining the highest safety standards while delivering effective training. Her knowledge extends beyond land-based fitness; she is also experienced in aqua yoga and stretching techniques, which enhance her versatility as a trainer.
Micki’s extensive personal experience in endurance sports sets her apart in the fitness community. She has competed in various adventure races, triathlons, half and full marathons, and countless terrain and 5K races, showcasing not only her athletic prowess but also her ability to relate to her clients’ journeys. This depth of experience allows her to empathize with the challenges and triumphs that come with pursuing fitness goals. Enthusiasm is Micki’s greatest attribute.
